Quinta Casa - Seleiras

We were lucky enough to stay with Isabelle at Quinta Das Seleiras, just outside of town in Evora for a few days in May. The unassuming beauty that shines from the owner smile is surpassed only by her clear love for this newly renovated (rather she is currently renovating) farmhouse that dates from the Napoleonic Wars in the 1800's (the low height of the doors show people simply were not as tall then). After a whirlwind trip staying in the hearts of Barcelona's Las Ramblas, the center of Taormina and sleeping with Lisbon's famous funicular/cable cars clanging outside our windows, to have sheep and horses as neighbors was a delightful change of pace. Breakfast was highlighted by one of life's most simple pleasures-local oranges picked from a neighbor's yard, sliced and juiced for a perfect start to any morning. We look forward to seeing how the property changes with more than just a few months of the owner's hard work, dedication and wonderful smile. We are sure it will be simply amazing.

나는 그녀의 숙소의 모든 것들이 마음에 들었습니다. 우리는 포루투갈 신트라에서 출발했고, 스페인 세비야로 가는 길이 멀기때문에 중간 지점에서 하루정도 머물곳이 필요했습니다. 거창한 관광지를 보고자 하는 것도 아니고, 한적한 곳을 원했던 우리에겐 너무나 최적의 장소였습니다. 이곳은 자연과 하나돼있는 곳이며, 조금만 걸어가도 말과 소와 양들을 볼수 있습니다. 관광지와의 거리는 차량으로 10분 정도 걸리는데 숙소 대여비는 매우 저렴하기 때문에 관광객에게도 손색이 없습니다. 또한 호스트 이사벨은 밝고 친절한 사람입니다. 그녀는 까미노길에 대한 깊은 애정과 감명을 갖고 있었으며, 이제 막 French way 까미노를 완주한 우리와 유대감을 형성할수 있었습니다. 이곳은 참으로 엔틱하고, 오래된 가구로 인해 고급지며, 인상깊고 편안한 숙소입니다. 숙소 한 곳 한 곳이 모두 특별한 포토스팟 입니다. 특히 아주 오래돼보이는 커피잔은 나에게있어 어릴적 갖고 놀던 소꿉장난감을 떠올리게 하는 특별한 추억이 될것 같습니다.

Este alojamento a 10 minutos do centro da cidade de Évora, é um refúgio que proporciona uma imersão autêntica na tranquilidade do Alentejo. A experiência começa na própria casa rústica, que foi lindamente recuperada, mantendo o charme tradicional do campo, mas oferecendo um conforto moderno e acolhedor. Toda a casa está muito bem cuidada, com excelente nível de limpeza e conforto, especialmente nos quartos. O espaço envolvente é sereno, rural, com uma natureza que nos incentiva caminhar por ela e em poucos passos podémos visualizar cavalos, ovelhas, cabras, aves, aves de rapina... Mas o ponto sentral deste alojamento é sem dúvida a sua anfitriã, Isabel. A sua hospitalidade é extraordinária, marcada pela simpatia genuína, pela total disponibilidade, generosidade e toques pessoais como mimos na cozinha (com frutas, chás, café, bolinhos...), fazendo-nos sentir verdadeiramente em casa. Em suma, a Quinta Casa Seleiras é a escolha perfeita para quem deseja a tranquilidade do turismo rural alentejano, sem abdicar da riqueza histórica e das conveniências da cidade de Évora. Foi perfeito, recomendamos vivamente!

I had a lovely stay. This guest house offers an authentic experience in the countryside of Evora. Surrounded with nature and 10 minutes away from the city. Very comfortable, clean and beautiful

Uma experiência maravilhosa, que superou as minhas expectativas. A limpeza do espaço era impecável, a anfitriã Isabel foi extremamente simpática atenciosa e acolhedora, sempre disponível para ajudar e garantir que tudo corresse bem. Recomendo a 100% para quem procura tranquilidade e conforto em plena natureza e muito próximoda cidade linda de Évora. Sem dúvida, voltarei!
